This is a set of impact-resistant, thin-walled socket wrenches designed for loosening and tightening bolts and nuts with an external hex profile. These impact sockets are designed for use with power tools, such as pneumatic impact wrenches, under constant loads. The design of these thin-walled impact sockets is characterized by high strength and wear resistance, as well as a hole for a locking pin and a groove for a rubber ring, which securely lock the socket onto the impact wrench spindle. The main differences between impact sockets and standard sockets lie in the materials and manufacturing technology used, which ensure their key characteristic—resistance to constant dynamic loads. High strength is achieved through the use of chromium-molybdenum steel (Cr-Mo). The main alloying element is molybdenum, which provides maximum hardness, strength, and torsional resistance with relatively low weight. The black phosphate coating provides additional protection against corrosion and mechanical damage. The metal case is convenient for storage and transportation, and also protects the tool from drops and environmental influences. |
